Pre-printed form: THIS DEED, Made and entered into this 19th day of Nov. 1906, between Mrs. Parthenia D.FORD & her husband Henry Ford, of the first part, and E. W. Ford party of the second part, WITNESSETH, That said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred Dollars - of which there is Two Hundred & fifty Dollars in hand paid & balance of Fifty Dollars to be paid in Carpenters work the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby sell and convey to the party of the second part, his heirs an assigns, the following described real estate, lying in Barren County, Ky., viz: 1 Lot or parcel of land situated near the town of Glasgow on the Louisville & Nashville Pike opposite Capt. Jack LEWIS residence. Bounded as follows: Beginning at a point on Edge of the Pike 110 ft. from P. E. TANDYs Corner running with the Pike 100 feet to a stone thence about East to a stone in the line of J. M. RICHARDSON land which stone is 210 ft. from the N. E. Corner of P. E. Tandys Corner, thence 100 feet on Richardsons line & thence about west in a straight line to the beginning, which lot is 100 feet wide in both front & rear & binds on pike on the west and on the Richardsons line on the East. The title to said land was delivered from H. W. COOMBS and wife by deed of record in the Barren County Clerk's office, in Deed Book No. 53, Page [blank], and bears date 10 day of Oct. 1906. A lien is retained to secure payment of the unpaid purchase money. To have and to hold the same, with all the appurtenances thereon, to the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, with a covenant of "General Warranty."
