> Peter Ford of Barren and Green County, KY was dead after 18 Jan 1847 when he was appointed guardian of Mary Ann and Susanna M Faulkner, grandchildren, and before 16 Aug 1847 when his son Alexander is given letters of administration for" Peter Ford decd". Alexander Ford states in the census that his father, Peter, was born in Virginia. I believe there could be a connection with the Joseph Ford who marries Lucinda Autry in Barren county and also John Ford who held adjoining land until Peter was cut off in Metcalfe County. .Children of Peter and Susanna Edward, daughter of Alexander Edwards; an unknown male born 1794-1804, a son Peter who died early or a brother?, Absolom c 1816, Catherine c 1810-16, Charlotte, 1818, Alexander 1821, Martha 1823, Susanna 1824, America 1825. Peter also had a female, of the correct age, who could be his Mother in the 1820 census, Susanna's mother was deceased by that time. A Joshua Ford wanders in and out of Barren who could have been related father.
