    3. GREEN CO: Mr. J. B. MONTGOMERY and Miss Minnie BIBB, of Greensburg, were married in the parlors of the Walton House here Monday. Judge GRINSTEAD officiating. The bride and groom were accompanied by Mr S Y JONES, of Hudgins, Green county, and Miss May Montgomery, of Greensburg. (4 Dec 1895 issue). HART CO: On the 19th inst., at the bridal altar in the Mammoth Cave, Mr. Bill PERKINS - better known as "Friend" Perkins - was married to Miss Anna PACE, of Monroe, Ky., Bro. E. S. ELLISON officiating. Mr. Perkins and his bride were accompanied by F. J. CURLE and Miss Kate Pace, sister to the bride; Mr. Ed Pace and Miss Minnie LARIMON, Hon. J. W. CURIE, of Munfordville, and Mr. J D THOMPSON, of Horse Cave. In the Cave at the marriage were a Mr. STEELE, a newspaper man from Ohio, and several newspaper men from Michigan. Mr. H C GANTER, the ever genial and polite manager of the cave, together with all the clerks and other cave officials, witnessed the marriage. Mr. Perkis is one of Hart county's cleverest and best citizens, while the bride is a lady of rare beauty and high accomplished. They have the best wishes of a large circle of friends. (4 Dec 1885 issue). Mr J L WALKER and Miss Anna THOMPSON, both of Hart county, eloped to Jeffersonville Thanksgiving Day and were married. (4 Dec 1895 issue). Harvey A PUCKETT and Mary J BAUMGARTNER, elopers from Hart county, were married last Friday in Jeffersonville, Ind., by Magistrate KEIGWIN. Miss Baumgartner had been attending school, and when she and her sister left home Thursday they told their parents they expected to spend the night with a classmate. Miss Baumgartner met her lover and they rode to Horse Cave, boarded a train and went to Louisville. (27 Nov 1895 Issue). Mr Wm R JOHHNSON, of Pensacola, Fla., and Miss Ada SUBLETT, of Horse Cave, Ky., were married at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday of last week, in the Baptist church at Cave City. Rev. N G TERRY, of this place, officiating. Miss Annie M. GREEN, Louisville, was maid of honor, and Miss Marie MIMMS, of Allensville, Ky., and Will PAYNE, of Cave City, were bridesmaids. METCALFE CO: Mr. Harry C WOODARD, of the Blue Spring, and Miss Millie FRANKLIN of Center, will be united in marriage at the home of the bride's brother-in-law, Mr. Sam ASBERRY, December 15th. Miss Franklin is an accomplished and handsome young lady. Mr. Woodard is the son of Capt. J. W. Woodard, and is one of Metcalfe's most popular young men. May joy, peace and happiness go with them through life. (4 Dec 1895 issue). MONROE CO: Sanders LEE, a most excellent citizen of Flippen, dropped dead of heart failure, last Monday. He seemed to be as well as common and was out in his lot greasing a wagon when death overtook him. (27 Nov 1895 issue). WARREN CO: Mr. Wm GRAHAM and Miss Sallie T HENDERSON, of the Oakland Station country, were married in Bowling Green last Thursday. The groom is a prominent young farmer of the Oakland vicinity, and the bride is the daughter of Mr A J Henderson, of the same county. (4 Dec 1895 issue).
