And, we are having the monthly meeting of our South Central KY Historical & Genealogical Society meeting here in Glasgow also! The next meeting of the South Central KY Historical and Genealogical Society will be held Thursday evening, June 21, 6 pm, at the Mary Wood Weldon Library. Our speaker will be Nancy Richey, Reference and Image Librarian at the Kentucky Library and Museum in Bowling Green. She will be discussing her recent book, Images of Barren County through some of her favorite photographs that showcase the historical culture, religious and educational institutions and the ordinary family life of the county. She will also make researchers aware of the many Barren County materials available at the Kentucky Library and how to access them. There is no charge for admission.
