With the cooperation of the Barren Co Clerk's office, I am copying the marriages licenses with minister's returns. I'm starting with 1851 as 1799-1850 have been previously done. The original licenses prior to 1851 have been copied with the copies placed in acid free sleeves and put into books which are on the shelves at the Clerk's office. Thus, the precious originals will be stored safely away to prevent further loss or deterioration. Researchers can make copies from the copies in the books. I have just finished copying the 1851 marriages and put into book form, both paper version and e-book format.
