How do we submit corrections? I found my family on the 1940 census, but there are some awful misspellings. If I hadn't known what it was supposed to be, I'd never have found them!!! Searching for my ancestors in Kentucky and Tennessee. ________________________________ From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, May 1, 2012 9:24 AM Subject: Re: [SCKY] 1940 Census Hello, I think the address below works; I originally clicked on a link on one of Richard Eastman's newsletters. Try going to: https://ident.familysearch.org/cis-web/pages/registration/registration.html? lng=en&referrer=FamilySearch%20Indexing%20Client Then click on register for a new account or something like that. If you already have a Family Search user name and password, that will work. You have to download and run a program on your computer and then you are ready to go. Last night I said it was fairly easy - that was before I did a page where the census taker had terrible handwriting, but I finally finished it. Good luck. The more people who are indexing the census, the quicker we will find our folks.
