A long time ago, I posted some abstracts from the History of Fountain Run booklet. Mark Ross wrote me yesterday with a question about some dates shown. I know some of you are experts on Monroe Co and thought you might be able to help Mark. He included some attachments which I of course, can't post to the list. The birthday of Louisa Goad is what I'm questioning. Many of the details look correct, Mother, father, husband, death date, residence, but the birth date seems way off. It says she was born in 1884, but one of her grandsons (my grandfather) was born in 1881. :) The information I have for her, found from a death record (which I believe was mis read by ancestry.com as Good instead of Goad) and census records put her birth somewhere closer to 1832. Is there any way you can help me confirm or disprove that? If there's more information you need, please feel free to ask.. I'm just in rush right now to get to work. Right now, I'm trying to track my Ross Lineage.
