Just a quick note to let you know that a DOS program CAN run on Windows 7 if you add a virtual XP to the computer and the printing problems on an older program have been solved. (But learned that when Windows 8 is introduced, the DOS shell will be removed). I think I am back in business again and still reading the Dummy book for Windows 7! Thanks to all of you who tried to help; my tech (Michael Richey at SKCPR here in town) and his assistant fixed it in minutes; it was just one step we were missing. I wish program creators would leave things alone!!!
