We have searched for years for the parents of Robert E. (Bobby) Lee, a shoemaker of Edmonson County who married Leutitia Rountree in 1832 in Brownsville. We know of one brother, John Lee, married 1811 to Tabitha Isabella Francis, both of Wayne County, proven by court documents. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dan & Alice Lee

John Vant Stephens was born about 1798 in either VA or KY. His father was likely Thomas Stephens. After several years in Barren/Allen area the family moved to Missouri. DNA testing shows a very close tie to the Jesse Stephens line of Hancock Co. KY, which is my family line. I haven't been able to establish the link between these two Stephens lines.
