Dear listers Sorry this is a very basic but I haven't dealt with genealogy websites and resources for several years and seem to have forgotten everything! A few years back I found, or if I remember correctly, someone on the list told me that some of my family MULLIGAN were buried in King Williams Town. I don't know which cemetery and the grave does not appear on the eGGSA photographs of either of the two KWT graveyards. Does the eGGSA project show all graves or only a selection on the older ones? Where can I get information on where the graves are and how to locate them? Is there an office at the graveyards that has registers?? (This seems a little optimistic but it's how I remember big modern graveyards working.) Someone else suggested that this information was recorded in church registers which also seems unlikely. Thanks. Elspeth
Hi Elspeth How about some names and dates beyond the surname? The Familysearch site has civil deaths in the Cape Province 1895-1972, so might very well have your family recorded.
