    3. Hello Listers, Is there anyone on the list who has access to the St. George's Park Cemetery, Port Elizabeth records? A Ronald and Catherine GORDON along with their daughter, Margaret, are buried in the cemetery but the gravestone has been broken and all that can be determined from what is left is that Catherine died aged 60 and Margaret GORDON died 21 February 1930, aged 68. I am fairly certain that Ronald GORDON is James Ronald GORDON who married Catherine LAMONT on 2 November 1865 in Port Elizabeth and the cemetery records may assist in confirming this thought. Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards, Pat Smith

    3. Hi Pat, From the records he is listed as "James Ronald" is listed as age 52 died 7 mar 1889 and husband of Catherine. Margaret their daughter is listed as :died 21 Feb 1930 age 68. Catherine is listed as the wife of "james Ronald" and dies 14 may 19?5 age 65. In all three records he is "James Ronald GORDON" There is a Ronald Charles and a Ronald Allen GORDON but the time frame is not yours and they were East London East bank . Source:East and Southern cape burial and Cremation records complied by Colin Levey and Liz Eshmade in april this year...(and BTW a very worthwhile purchase !!) 3. Hello Cheri, Many thanks. That's one mystery solved. It looks as though Alexander LAMONT who appears to be buried in the same plot may be related in some way to Catherine LAMONT but I still have to prove this thought. Thanks again.
