Hi Cheri Mostly MULLIGAN and FITZGERALD - a SMITH connection with Post Retief - the only farms I know of still in existence today. I wonder if someone can explain how to trace the 1891 map of Komgha district (I have a list of the farm numbers and owners from on 2005 thread on this list but need to see whereabouts it is). I am not sure what the boundaries of Komgha district were - my farm is listed under a few below 'near Gonubie River' - for practical purposes is this vague info all I'll get anyway, and if so where does anyone know more or less where this would refer to? I then would like to find out about farms in the Indwe / Dordrecht area in the 1890s. My search of KAB showed farms being transferred from Wodehouse district and Elliot district around 1919. Indwe was very new in 1890 - but where would farms around 1894- 1900 or so be registered? Where and how would I look for this information? Thank you.
