Hello All, I was hoping that someone out there may have some information as to what happened to the Hepburn & Jeanes Studio in Grahamstown, as I have a number of old family photo's that were taken by this studio & I would love to get my hands on the negatives, or to find out if I am missing any photo's in a series. I googled the company, & apparently they were still going until fairly recently & they retained all of there negatives. Surely when they closed the negatives wouldn't have just been discarded, I am hoping that they were perhaps donated to a museum & archived (fingers crossed). If anyone could help out with any info, I would be most grateful. Thank you in anticipation. Lauren
I have made a couple of phone calls and established that the current owner, Elsabe VAN TONDER is still operating, but from her home at 15 Market Street, Grahamstown. Her contact number is 0466229579.
