His salary was 100 pounds per annum. Edward Charles A. WELSH was 1st Clerk in the Department Of Registrar of Deeds , Divisional Courts and Offices Queenstown. His first appointment date was Apr 9 1887 and his fixed appointment date Jan 1 1888. His salary was 300 pounds per annum. WELSH Edward C.A. (L.).- Clerk, Herschel 1885-86, secretary to Xalanga distress commission, 1886; clerk, Nquamakwe, transkei, 9th April, 1887; assistant magistrate, October, 1887; Mquanduli, 23rd January, 1890; clerk, Kimberley, 23rd January, 1891; Hay, 10th february, 1892; Cradock, 1st September, 1892; Colesberg, 13th March,1893; Albert, 8th November,1893; Bedford 1st April, 1896; Queens Town, 8th April, 1898. He acted at Nqamakwe, Mquanduli, Tsomo and Albert; as assistant magistrate at Venterstad, Molteno, Adelaide and Keiskama Hoek, and as clerk, Hope Town. Thomas Edward WELSH worked on the Railways, Midland System, Burghersdorp, as a District Loco. Foreman. His first appointment date was Aug 26 1884, his fixed appointment date, Sep 14 1894 and the date of his appointment to his present post was Nov 1 1897. His salary was 280 pounds per annum. His first appointment date was 6 June 1895 and he was appointed to his present post on Oct 1 1897. Hi salary was 94 pounds per annum and he received Quarters and Rations. he also received 18 pounds 5 shillings per annum as clerical assistant. A Clement Tyson GOLDSWAIN was working as a 3rd class clerk in the Returned Letter Branch of the Post Office. His first appointment date was May 1 1898 Fixed appointment date 13 Aug 1899 and he was appointed to his present position on the 24 Aug 1898. He received a salary of 135 pounds per annum. W.R. GOLDSWAIN was a Relieving Stationmaster on the Midland System. First appointment date Aug 11 1885 Fixed Appointment, 17 Jul 1896 and appointment to present post Aug 1 1897.
