    3. FRIDAY, 24 NOVEMBER, 1922 OBITUARY ------x------ DOROTHY ALICE POBJOY ------x------ ESTCOURT, November 22. The death occurred at Freree on Monday, after a short illness, of Dorothy Alice POBJOY, at the early age of 28 years. The interment took place at the Estcourt General Cemetery on Tuesday the Rev. R.P. ROGERS, Vicar of Estcourt, conducting the service. Wreaths were sent by Queenie and children, Mr. and Mrs. Partridge. Annie, Son, Frank, and Kathleen, May and John. ------x------ MRS. HANNAH MILLIKEN ------x------ Many friends and relatives in Natal will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Hannah MILLIKEN, which sad even took place at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. HOLMES, 250, Berg Street, Maritzburg, at midnight on Sunday last. Her death removed another old colonist who was loved and respected by many old friends and relatives. The deceased lady was the widow of the late John MILLIKEN of the 58th Regiment, and subsequently a contractor at Zwartkop Valley. She joined her husband in Natal during the Zulu War in 1881. Those left to mourn their loss are six children, three daughters and three sons: Mrs. F.T. HOLMES, Mrs. Dave SUTTIE, Miss MILLIKEN, Messrs. Frank, Jim and Harry MILLIKEN. Three daughters predeceased her, they being Mrs. Jack SUTTIE, Mrs H. ATKINSON and Mrs. Percy TAYLOR. Owing to her health the latter part of her life was spent at Mooi River. Her kind and loving form will be sadly missed by those dear and near to her. Her sufferings, though great, were borne without complaint, her only thoughts being for those she was leaving behind. The funeral, which took place on Monday afternoon, was largely attended, the cortege proceeding via Commercial Road to the Roman Catholic Cemetery. The following is a list of wreaths placed on the grave: - Harry and Lucy; Jim, Nellie and Children; Dot; Fred and Emmie; Sid, Bert, Hilda, May and Cyril; Harry and family; Blanche and Harry; Frank and Bessie; Dave, Bella, the Girls and Stanley; Arthur, Kathleen and Baby; Mr. and Mrs. D. RICHTER and family; From All at "The Mount"; Mr. and Mrs. TEMPLEMAN and family; Mr. and Mrs. Frank KNAPP and family; Mr. and Mrs. Edgar RHODE; Frank, Mary and Great-grandchildren; Mr. and Mrs. James BIRD; Mr. and Mrs. N. POUND and family; Mr. and Mrs. John FORD; Sid TILEY; and many others. The coffin was made of polished oak with E.P. fittings, and the funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. Dove Brothers. SATURDAY, 25 NOVEMBER, 1922 DEATHS THOMPSON. - At the Dundee Hospital, on 19th November, 1922, Isabella Jane, beloved wife of Charles THOMPSON, Glencoe Junction, aged 39 years. Deeply mourned. 6220 IN MEMORIAM THRASH. - In ever loving memory of Jane THRASH, who passed peacefully away November 27th at 103, Pine Street. "So He giveth His beloved sleep." 1298 WEATHERDON. - In loving memory of our dear little son and brother (Roy), who was called away November 25, 1918, aged 3.
