    3. I wonder if this Miss Wayland was Ellen Wayland born 1854 died 28.07.1926 married Alfred Gilfillan b 1846. Ellen is the sister of Emma who married Edward Boyer Cook Their daughter Mathilda 'May' Hart Cook married Edward Thornhill Gilfillan. Is Miss Loremore perhaps Miss LOVEMORE? Ellis, Son and Fickling despatched on the 29th ult. for Algoa Bay, the ship Golden Fleece, under the command of Captain Nicholas Way, with a full cargo and the following cabin passengers: - Mr and Mrs Gadd, Mrs Wright, Mr and Mrs Brebner, Mrs Henley, Captain and Mrs Rorke and 2 children, Mr and Mr R.F Rorke, Miss Rorke, Master Rorke, Miss Wayland, Miss Loremore, Messrs.
