Hi Listers I have a brick wall which I've been struggling with for many years now. My great, great grandmother is EMILY CHRISTINA SCHULTZ (Perhaps Emmelina) who we believe was born on 2 Apr 1865 in Queenstown. She married Karl August Wilhelm Schultz in Queenstown, probably shortly before 1891 and had a number of children that we know of. Various documents indicate her maiden name was Schultz. She died on Aug 8 1953 in Pretoria and is (supposedly) buried in the Rebecca Street cemetery in Pretoria. I have not managed to confirm her birth details - nor do I know who her parents were. Could I ask SKS to check their baptism / marriage lists to see if they could find any sliver of info which could help me break my wall down. I was thinking that one of three things could be of value: 1. If we can find her marriage entry we can confirm her maiden name and perhaps some other details, such as her name! 2. If we can find her baptism entry then of course we've hit gold 3. If we can find any of her children's baptism entries we could confirm her name and maiden name If anyone can help with a lookup then I'd be really grateful.
