***** Update Info ***** Hi Listers, Though I have yet to receive any detailed response from the FamilySearch folks as to what searchable Cape Civil Death records were loaded on their web site last Wed, I have been able to determine that a "portion" of the 12,764 searchable records are from the following towns/districts: Beaufort West Bedford Cape Town Carnarvon ***Carnarvon-Cathcart Cathcart Ceres Clanwilliam Colesberg Cradock East London *** Note that on 118 records a double town or district, Carnarvon-Cathcart, is listed in the "Event Place" field. I believe this to be a transcription error, as most all know, Carnarvon is located in Northern Cape and Cathcart in Eastern Cape. Happy hunting, Ron Stanton
