Hi Ron I'm home now and trying to solve the mystery of Herschel 1944. Thought it would be easy - simply go to the recycle bin and restore the download, which I've had to do occasionally in the past. Only to find that on 14 Jan 2014 my husband did some "housekeeping" and emptied the bin! Does anyone out there know of any way of recovering the emptied stuff? A back-up was done, but the recycled stuff doesn't appear to be on it. I've tried a couple of suggestions, but so far no success. I've spent some time looking at other years for Herschel on FamilySearch, and also at towns near Herschel on the list, in case I selected the wrong one in error, but as yet I haven't found a match for that transcript. So I'm as mystified as you and would dearly love to know what it was that I transcribed. Perhaps in the meanwhile Herschel 1944 should be deleted from all Lists? You transcribed these last Nov. Can you please look into this for me? I noticed that FamilySearch made some changes to the CCDs on 24 Dec 2013. I'm trying to find out what was changed or added.
