John, I can't vouch for the validity of the research, but there is a family tree posted on www.ancestry.com that shows Valerie Ena Bailie as the daughter of Lawrence Herbert Bailie (1864-1918) and Amelia Leslie (no dates). She is the sister of Lawrence Herbert Bailie born in 1912. The family tree follows the Bailie family back 4 generations from Valerie.
