I don't think they will do look-ups as the births are in volumes, not on the computer system (other documents which are recorded on NAAIRS can be requested by e-mail and they will post) so I would imagine you may have to go there in person. My husband found his grandmother's birth record in large handwritten volumes that are kept at the archives. As far as the baptism record goes, do you know what church they would have attended? (presume Dutch Reformed?) Do you know her exact date of birth or can you calculate the approximate date from her date of death?
