I read the previous e-mails from Patti Putter who was requesting help with finding her grandmother's records (van der Mescht). I have been trying to find my grandfather's baptism (Hendrik Jacobus Moolman born 30/08/1891 in Hankey) for a long time. I thought I had struck gold with the index and followed the link provided from Linda to the Family Search site but could not find any M's in the index. Am I missing something? When trying to go through from the home page of Family Search in the normal manner, I could not find the indexes of the GISA baptism records. Can anyone help as I would like to contact GISA if I have something to go on. Antoinette Saunders Sent from MWEB Message Centre - CONNECT AND YOU CAN
Hi Antoinette, There are several indexes depending on date of baptism and first letter of surname. The indexes are here: https://familysearch.org/search/image/index#uri=https%3A%2F%2Ffamilysearch.org%2Frecapi%2Fsord%2Fwaypoint%2FM64C-VWL%3A13850901%2C13850902%2C13851003%3Fcc%3D1392488 Hope you find your grandfather's baptism!
