Hi Carrol, A Rennie researcher has very kindly highlighted two errors in the information posted: Firstly I served up a typo: Edward's wife Katherina Agnes Wilhelmina Rennie, (born de Beer), died in 1917 (according to Prof Rennie), and not in 1817 as I typed. Sorry about that. However, the death notice places her death in 1916. Secondly, it seems that Prof Rennie was wrong with the death date of Edward John Rennie. According to death notice KAB MOOC 23172/1944 EJR die on 30 May 1944 at his wife's residence in Murray Street, Tarkastad. I will deal presently with your off-list queries.
