I have some members of the TWISS family in my data. Most of this is research done by the late Fred WOODS of Estcourt. One of the ore interesting ones is Peter TWISS, Reportedly the first man to fly an aircraft at over 1000 miles per hour. On 11.3.1956, he piloted a Fairy Delta Res plane at 1132.136 miles per hour an increase of no less than 310 mile per hour over previous official best. He is also the author of a book entitled: "Faster than the sun". I have also done a limited amount of research into the WOODS family as my maternal line is WOODS.
