HI Can someone advise whether there would be any civil birth registrations for a child born 8 May 1840 His father was a soldier in the 27th Regiment of Foot posted in the province in 1840. The fathers name was Patrick Clancy, mother Mary, child was Patrick Clancy. If there are civil registration how do I go about getting a copy of such a document. Thanks Laine Clancy
