Just posted death notice images for Transvaal estates http://africangenealogdns.blogspot.com/
Hi Hi Original Death Certificates can be ordered directly from Home Affairs which is a problem as you are in Canada but a relation here in SA could do it. Photographs of Death Notices can be ordered from Eggsa online who offer an excellent service - delivery is 3-4 weeks. If a death notice will do, you will need the National Archives reference numbers and details to order from Eggsa. I have ordered plenty from Eggsa and they have been great but they are photos from the archives. Hi Sally - As there are many Olivers that are not in your tree, it is a good idea to give the list as much detail about the clan you are interested in to assist in narrowing down the search ! I can send you a gedcom with what I have - if it will help ! As far as I can remember the last OLIVER I could find was a marriage in Willowmore so I assume it would be there in the Eastern Cape, but for the last 60 or more years the OLIVERs have been up here in the Transvaal so it would be lookups in both areas?
