Dear All I am on a quest to locate birth/baptism/christening/death records for my 2nd great grandmother, Annie Elizabeth WALTERS (neé MILLER), & her older siblings, Charlotte & Charles, amongst others possibly. I have confirmed the following from marriage information: Annie Elizabeth Miller (17, born circa 1881/1882) married John Charles WALTERS (aka Charlie, 36, born circa 1862/1863) on 24/07/1899 in Pietermaritzburg. Charlotte Kathleen MILLER (27, born circa 1873/1874) married Norman WALTERS (aka Norris?, 35, born circa 1865/1866) on 11/06/1901 in Pietermaritzburg. I have confirmed the following from NAB, MSCE, Ref: 2418/1949 & Ref: 175/1970: Charles John MILLER (born circa Feb 1880, Wepener, O.F.S?) married Magdalena Catherina Gesina DU TOIT (born 18/12/1883) in Pietermaritzburg on 21/07/1903. Their children: Henry Thomas (M), Gilbert Samuel (M), John William (M) , Norman (M), Magdalena (F). Annie's 1st child, Eva WALTERS - my great grandmother, was born at 356 Greyling Street, Pietermaritzburg, in Feb 1899. Charlotte's 1st child, Rachel WALTERS, was born at 10 Chapel Street, Pietermaritzburg, in Dec 1904. Per The Natal Almanacs, Alphabetical Directory, PMB for 1904: WALTERS, M., toy maker, 8-10 Chapel Street. Annie's 2nd child, Charlotte's last 4 children & 1 of Charles's children were all born at 81 Chapel Street, Pietermaritzburg. Per The Natal Almanacs, Alphabetical Directiory, PMB for 1907: WALTERS, Mrs. N., 81 Chapel Street. I think 81 Chapel Street is for up for rent now but may have previously been the offices of Sage Life Ltd. I do not know where the WALTERS brothers were born although it'd appear either the brother/s and/or their father served during the Boer War (1899 - 1902) - Inniskillen (Enniskillen) Regiment - Irish? I'd appreciate any input whatsoever.
