We are trying to trace Edith Marie Franklin's family. Edith married Mowbray Overton Johnstone in 1889, we think in Verulam, Natal. Later she married William Henry James, who died in 1929. Edith died aged 73 in Pietermaritzburg on 5 November 1939 (we have her Death Notice). Thanks to all for the very interesting information and special thanks too to all the transcribers.
