Hi Carol So, this CD will contain transcribed information (eg from registers) currently NOT on eGGSA? If so, then this is a CD worth having. My experience is that registers very often have information of graves of which the headstones have been damaged to the extent that they cannot be photographed. A Lot of the names are direct from Cemetery Registers and hand transcriptions of headstones. Remember in the days before digital cameras, groups went and transcribed the headstones by hand and captured them on sheets of paper, later put on spread sheets, this is 1 large spread sheet. Our cemetery project is now one of photographing and sending them into eGGSA and also adding the details of these photos to our current spread sheet. Hope this clears it up. Hi Brian You would be 100% correct. Combination of transcriptions from headstones and registers.
