    3. Geez I don't know - I'm also in the UK and just subscribed to the list a few days ago and haven't even posted anything on it - that's why I was surprised to get your email. The only link I have to Rhodesia is that my husband was born there but his father only emigrated from the UK about 1960. Maybe we should contact the administrator and find out how this list thing works. I don't know of any site that specialises in Rhodesian genealogy but there is society in the UK for ex Rhodesians so perhaps they could put you on the right road. Not sure what they're called but I'm sure a Google search will find it. There is a site for South African genealogy called ancestry24.co.za but I haven't seen anything there on Rhodesia but then I haven't looked for it either. It's a very good site but with limited information at the moment. There are no digitized records in South Africa so it's a painstaking and time consuming project for them to get information on their site and I assume it's the same for Rhodesia. You can always send them an email and ask if they know where to look for Rhodesians - they are very helpful. Let me know if you find anything on how this list works. Good luck Regards Carol -------------------------------------------------- From: "Chris and Glen" <chrisnglen@hotmail.com> Sent: Monday, August 13, 2012 10:45 PM To: <south-africa-cape-town@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re: [SOUTH-AFRICA-CAPE-TOWN] Chrisnglen@hotmail.com > Hi Carol, > I'm probably as confused as you are! 3. Hi, I've been reading your letters; unfortunately I don't have ancestors or relatives that I need to research in Rhodesia so I don't have any practical advice to offer. I believe (from messages I've read in the past) that there are some Rhodesian Death notices which can be found on the Family Search website. I have many thousands of ancestors and relations that I have had to research in South Africa; I've been very lucky to have had helpful people to help and advise me over the years. I hope you encounter equal helpfulness. Best Wishes, Tombi Peck ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carol Chapman" <caz.ann@msn.com> To: <south-africa-cape-town@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, August 13, 2012 11:07 PM Subject: Re: [SOUTH-AFRICA-CAPE-TOWN] Chrisnglen@hotmail.com > Geez I don't know - I'm also in the UK and just subscribed to the list a > few > days ago and haven't even posted anything on it - that's why I was > surprised > to get your email.
