Hi All I am new to this site and I looking for information to help my family research. My Great Grandfather is Jame Cree, DoB Mar 11 1860 Boness Ayreshire Scotland. He is also known as McCree. We believe he was in the Argyle & Southern Highlanders. Unsure if he married Charlotte in Scotland or Cape town. But have been unable to find a marriage record in scotland.
