The only suggestion re church would be St George's in Cape Town as other baptisms and previously the parents' wedding were conducted/recorded there. A scan of the Eastern Province Herald of 1842 records her baptism but can't find later copies which may record a death (if it was even noted). We show that Richard Humphries and his family were sponsored to come from England to South Africa by James Stanton reported to be a cousin, in 1826. Can anyone tell me how these two are related?
