Hi Nick The estate papers from 1960 upwards are housed in the Master of the High Court in Cape Town. They are not online and your cannot order them online. My grandmother came to South Africa as an orphan of the holocaust in 1946 (aged 13) and was accompanied by her late-grandfather's second wife, a woman who she called 'Oma' (German for grandmother I believe), but whose name was Hilda Mayer. She married Leon Mayer in Germany but he died shortly before they left for South Africa. I found the image of her cemetery stone on jewishcemetery.co.za which says: Hilda Mayer (born Maier), passed away 18th June 1970. Though I have found my grandmother's immigration papers (through Naairs), I cannot find any documentation about Hilda. I would appreciate any advice or guidance about this matter!
