Hello Listers, We're looking for someone in UK who may be able to look up a death notice for Joseph Trueman, born 5th June 1777 and married Mary Crane in London in 1802. Also looking for a marriage between Mary Crane christened 23rd March 1779 and Major Edward Molesworth. This would possibly have been around 1812. Many thanx, Glyn and Brenda

Hi Mary, Joseph Trueman was baptised and married at St Stephen Walbrook, London and his siblings were either christened or married at St Stephen Walbrook. Joseph's son Griffin and son John were christened at St Mary's Lambeth, Surrey so where he died we have no idea. His widow Mary had a child by Molesworth in Ireland in 1816. On Mary's gravestone are the words "relict of Deputy Assistant Commissary General Trueman" whatever that may mean. Hopefully that narrows the search a bit.
