Robert Joseph Deeker and Hannah Clark, These are my gt gt g'parents and from what I can find were both born in England (Robt abt 1812 in London, Hannah in Warwickshire abt 1808) and married in Cape Town in abt 1830, They had 10 children there before moving to Victoria, Aust in 1853. I am particularly interested in getting a copy of their marriage cert and their dtr Annie's birth cert (my gt g'mother). She was born abt 1843 in Cape Town. These certs partly to establish the spelling of their names - there has been some uncertainty about it being Deeker or Decker, and also if they have more about their background. Any dates are approx, because the only source is their death certs in Victoria. I would like to know about their life in SA to get a more complete idea of them. Any help or guidance would be great.
