Hi, I am researching TAPSCOTT families who mainly originated from Somerset and Devon but who by the 19th century had spread all over the world including Australia, USA and Canada. Anyone descended from a TAPSCOTT emigrant to South Africa, please get in touch. I know there was a family in the Kimberley area which originated in Somerset.
