Afternoon all Familytree.co.za is pleased to announce their latest addition to their web site which is their new 'death notice template" This facility will enable all of us to share those hundreds and thousands of death notices which we have filed away at home and can now make them available to everyone. By simply entering the information on the template and clicking the "send" button, this information will be sent straight to a database and then uploaded onto the website on a daily basis. The National Archives are "over the moon" with this new concept as it will ease the strain on the staff at the various archives and most importantly the preservation of these documents, which are deteriorating at an alarming rate. There is also a downloadable excel template for those people who have large amounts of these documents.
