Please send it again if it is not the same message. So Randall's Hotel was still extant in the late 1960s -- that's interesting. Should make it easier to find other references to it. I've never delved into property records -- does anyone have any advice on how to go about this for Cape Town? Bearing in mind I live about 1000km north. There is a Clifton Road in Claremont, Clifton Road in Clifton, Clifton Rd in Mowbray (close to Rondebosch), Muizenberg, Tamboerskloof, District Six and Observatory There was a C. Randall living at 42 Fenton Road Salt River in 1900 and E.G. Randall living at Eureka Road Rondebosch. There was also a Dr. A.G.W. Farrell who lived at 1 Reform Rd Rondebosch. Reform Rd is about two hundred metres behind the main road in the vicinity of Westerford High School.
