    3. Hi to all Cape Listers, Would someone please help me with this query. I am searching for a marriage entry in Anglican Registers. Marriage around <1870> These people lived in Wynberg district. I have contact details for the various parishes but do not know when they opened or were consecrated. Was there a parish in Wynberg at this time? If yes, which one would that be? If not, would the couple have been married in Cape Town and at which parish? Would appreciate some enlightenment. Thanks in advance, Elva

    3. Hi Elva The main Anglican church in Wynberg in the 1870's was St John's. St John's registers begin in 1831 and are held at the church.
