They had 5 children - all born in South Africa I think. SAMUEL JAMES, b1858 ;JOSEPH ALFRED b.1860;MARY JANE, b1862;SUSAN M, b1864; & THOMAS A, b1873. They migrated to Australia (1870'sI think).
