    1. Sir Harry Smith's arrival at Cape Town
    2. Rob Hart
    3. Hello Listeners I am still trying to get information and if possible the passenger list form the Ship that brought Sir Harry Smith to the Cape in 1847 December. My ancestor was Stephen Hart and I am trying to find out if his borthers name was Edwin of Edward Hart and if their Father also came with them. This is a shot in the Dark because I have not found anything to date. This Stephen Hart lived in Newlands/ Rondebosch and married a Magdalena Johanna Brown/ Brachfeld. They were married in January 31 of 1848. And their eldest son was Thomas Hart. There is also no Death Notices for Stephen and Johanna but I did find a date they were buried it was two weeks apart in August 1892. My next step is to try to make the connection with the Family in Sussex England. I also have quite a few Death Notices of Harts that are not related to my family. I am actually on a Quest to gather all the Death Notices of Hart's to try and once and for all get all the Hart's. If there is anybody out there interested in getting this Hart story sorted out I would like to hear from you please. I have a bit of information on the Robert Hart from Glen Avon Somerset East as well as quite a few death Notices as well.
