    3. Hi Sharon and Helen, Thank you for your reply. I certainly do have a problem especially as I have no living South African relatives that I know of to ask. My mother would not talk about her family and I never thought to ask my Grandparents when they were alive. My grandfather did tell my sister he had brothers and there was some mention that they grew oranges! I understand the property was 'next door' to land owned by the Duke of Bedford. I do have my grandmother's identity card number so I don't know if that will be of any help to track her. I think my next step will be to write to South Africa House in London as that is where my grandmother's passport was renewed. I have also subscribed to the www.familytree.co.za and hope I might find some clues there. Many thanks again Kind regards Jennifer Cooper in Milton Keynes UK www.buckspoint.f2s.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sharon Warr" <snw@absamail.co.za> To: <SOUTH-AFRICA-CAPE-TOWN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2005 7:10 AM Subject: Re: [South-Africa-Cape-Town] COX > Hi Jennifer > Welcome to the list.
