Hi everyone, This is a shot in the dark. Does anyone by any chance have any information on the following person: George Alfred MORTINSON who was born in Cape Town circa 1873. (he died on 12 July 1946 in Johannesburg) His father was Ole Johan MORTINSON & his mother was Regnel Lena MORTINSON. They migrated from Bergen, Norway prob abt 1870 (not certain about date). Their surname was originally MORTENSEN, but changed to MORTINSON when they came to S.A. George Alfred MORTINSON was married to: (x) Caroline LEWIS (she died in 1914) & then to (xx) Isabella Johanna MARX. I got all this info on his death notice I found at the Archives, but can't find anything else. I was hoping that someone on this list may have something on their data base's. Thanks.
