Thank you to the Listers who answered my plaintive plea! Heather in particular has winkled some really interesting information for me. Some of you may recall that I have been trying to find something about WILLIAM HENRY HENDRICK. Have found the Death Notice of his mother, ANN, but not much information on it - obviously all that they had in the hospital records when she died. Definitely establishes William as her son, though, and says she was born in the Cape Colony. Now we thought she was born in Holland, but had no maiden name.... I know that she lived in Barrack Street, Cape Town, and other family members named MEYER were there also. In fact Meyer was William's wife's surname. She was GEORGINA MARIA MEYER and her father was JOSEPH MEYER but at some time he was also called MYERS. If anyone has any info on them I would be very grateful. Thank you, and go well.
