Anna, You may be clouding the issue as there is no connection between the CMR and the CMP although they sometimes operated together. An example is in 1906 when a troop of the CMR and a troop of the CMP under the command of Maj FH ELLIOT CMP and Lt AJ COWLEY CMR acted against rebels from German SWA in Gordonia.
