    3. Hi David, The Genealogical Society of South Africa (GSSA) has a page containing projects relating to various registers at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~zafgssa/Eng/Projects.html There is a Cemetery CD version 3 available, but not all cemeteries in SA have been completed. There are some Observatory Cemeteries recorded. Go to the NAAIRS site at: http://www.national.archives.gov.za/naairs.htm Click 'SEARCH' and choose GEN (Genealogical Society of Gravestones) from the Database. Insert one name per line as search words, eg. 13 documents were found for BOND. Also there are contact details for city of Cape Town Cemeteries at: http://www.capegateway.gov.za/eng/directories/services/14709/21865 Good luck, Elva > From: "David Cowie" <david@sa-cycling.com> > Date: 21 December 2005 8:12:59 AM > To: SOUTH-AFRICA-CAPE-TOWN-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: BOND, WILLIAMS and Memorial Inscriptions > > > Greetings all, > > I am researching part of my family tree (pedigree and not a ONS) > > Sydney James BOND (my g.grandfather) > Born 1887 > Died 1940 > Resident in Cape Town in the Rondebosch, Claremont, Observatory area. > Married Florence Edith WILLIAMS in 1913 > She died in 1937 > > Any information will be gratefully received.
