My grandmother was May Delores Pretorius and her mother was Johanna Catherina ROSSOUW she was born 25 June 1901 in Vryburg and died 25 October 1967 in Oberholzer. I've been researching my family history for the last four years and have a massive amount of history and events centered around Cape town as my great great granparents arrived from Germany and Holland in Capetown at the end of the 1800's. I'm very thankful as my great grandmother on my mothers side of the family wrote her life story just before her death in 1971 and wow she had a super memory on her for the extreme details she placed in it surrounding events that took place in Cape town.
