Well done Carol for doing that. I am sure that it is a huge task. I live in Ireland and how on earth does one start doing something like this? We have such beautiful old graveyards here and as far as I am aware no one has done this. The headstones are getting so old and becoming illegible and really believe someone should be doing it. I would be willing to do my local ones as far as possible but how do I start and are there any things I should look out for? I don't have any ancestors here but am certain people in other areas of the world would love the work done as much as I would love to have my own South African ancestors graves known. Is there any other area of South Africa where this has been done? I am from Durban but have my grandmother buried in Sabie and there must be some around Estcourt.
