Hi Neville If someone was murdered their would either be something published in the local newspapers or their would be an inquest which would appear in the National Archives - have seen many of then there before and have access the inquest books from hospitals in the Cape Town archives The archives database is down yet again...... Anyone have a clue as to where one might find information on a murder, a family member in the UK is trying to get information and perhaps a death certificate on a person born in the late 1800's travelled to Canada around 1927 and then came to SA. there is not much known about this person but family lore has it that he travelled to SA and was later murdered. Not much to go on but any ideas where to start would help.
