Hi Betty, The online lists cover the period 1890-1960 and these four fall roughly within the period you mention:- Mr LANCASTER bn circa 1861 aged 29 Single, merchant 28 Jan 1890 London to Cape on board the ss Garth Castle Capt LANCASTER no age given Married, officer 7 Feb 1890 Southampton to Cape on board the ss Trojan (He was not the master of this ship!) Mr LANCASTER no age given Single, no occupation given 14 Aug 1891 Southampton to Cape on board the ss Pretoria Mr LANCASTER no age given Married, no occupation given 2 Nov 1895 Souythampton to Cape on board the ss Greek There are a number of Frederick LANCASTERs born around 1871/2 - any indication of where in the UK? Or if any second forenames?
